Under the aegis of Vidya Bharati Meerut Province, a grand Commerce Fair was organised on 6–7 December at Vidya Mandir, Ghaziabad. The fair witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 400 students of 33 schools along with more than 40 teachers.
As part of the fair, three competitions were conducted—Quiz, Letter Reading, and Exhibition. Subject experts were invited for evaluation, including college professors, chartered accountants, and renowned professionals from the field of business management. All the experts described the initiative as innovative and stated that such programmes inspire students to move ahead in life. They also appreciated the students’ outstanding efforts, hard work, and presentations.
The event was graced by the presence of Shri Yatindra Ji, All India Co-Organisation Minister, and Shri Lachham Singh Ji, Regional Minister of Vidya Bharati, Western Uttar Pradesh Region. Several senior functionaries of Vidya Bharati Meerut Province were also present in large numbers.
In his address, Shri Pradeep Ji, Provincial Organisation Minister, said that commerce is a subject that influences everything from our daily activities to the global economy. He explained that the entire world is driven by economic activities, and commerce is the study of these very activities. He added that the study of commerce helps students choose the right direction in life.
He further emphasised that the primary objective of the fair was not to make students job seekers, but job creators. With this mindset, India can be transformed into a global economic power.
