“Vidya Daan Maha Abhiyan” Philanthropic initiative by Shri Gobind Chandra Mahanta for Deprived and Trodden students

Jalandhar, Punjab | Vidya Bharati's Akhil Bharatiya Sangathan Mantri Shri Gobind Mahanta launched the “Vidyadan Maha Abhiyan” under which free education will be provided to the deprived students of Punjab. He said that the education system in Bharat has been society-based since ancient times. The entire work of education is not possible by the government. 

Therefore, we all should cooperate with the government in the education system. Shri Shivam Gupta of Hoshiarpur has been appointed to look after the office work of Vidyadan Maha Abhiyan. Shri Gobind Mahant also inaugurated the ‘Education Donation Desk’. Principals, Managers, and Adhyakshs of Vidya Mandirs of all the district centers of Punjab were present on this occasion. Shri Vijay Nadda from Jalandhar, Shri Rajendra Kumar, and Shri Deshraj Sharma from Kurukshetra graced the occasion.
