Ramnish Geer awarded the coveted President's Police Medal

CBI joint director Ramnish Geer, an alumnus of Vidya Bharati SMB Gita Sr. Sec School, Kurukshetra has been awarded the coveted President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

CBI joint director Ramnish Geer, an alumnus of Vidya Bharati SMB Gita Sr. Sec School, Kurukshetra has been awarded the coveted President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

Ramnish Geer, a 1994-batch officer of CBI cadre, who as the head of CBI's Bhopal and Hyderabad zones, supervises various high-profile cases registered at CBI branches in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Vidarbh region of Maharastra. He has also served with the UN peacekeeping mission in Sudan.

Earlier in 2014 he was awarded the Independence Day Medal for Meritorious Police Service and the Gold Medal for 2006 as the Best Investigating Officer.
