Dr. Ampady K-won five Kerala state film awards

Dr. K Ampady is a 2002 batch Indian Information Service officer, currently working with Government of Kerala ( Managing Director, Kerala State Welfare Corporation for forwarding Communities ) He hails from Alapuzha district in Kerala and had done his schooling from Vyasa Vidya Peethom, a school run by Vidya Bharathi. He completed his M.B.B.S from Government Medical College, Alapuzha and had been functioning as Assistant Surgeon in a Primary Health Centre in Alapuzha, before joining the civil services. He cleared the civil services examination 2001 with Rank 153 and had opted for Indian Information Service (IIS). During the course of the service, he had also done his M.B.A in Advertising Management. He is also a passionate writer and had published articles and papers in reputed newspapers, magazines, and international journals. He is also a scriptwriter for a movie which won five Kerala state film awards.
