VIdya Bharati Sainik Schools
In an innovation move, Govt. of India has decided to open 100 Army (Sainik) Schools in partnership with private schools. Earlier Army Schools were run only by the Defence Ministry. We are pleased to inform that 9 Schools of Vidya Bharati (out of 42 allotted so far) have been selected to become Sainik Schools. More allocations are awaited. The Sainik School prepares students to join the Indian forces to serve the nation.
