‘Namami Bharatam’ Celebrates the 150th Anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’
‘नमामि भारतम्’ के माध्यम से मनाया गया ‘वन्दे मातरम्’ का सार्धशती समारोह
विद्वत परिषद की कार्यशाला में शिक्षा, राष्ट्रबोध और भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा पर हुआ मंथन
गुवाहाटी, 8 अगस्त। शिशु शिक्षा समिति असम की विद्वत परिषद के तत्वावधान में गुवाहाटी स्थित नेडफी भवन में ‘नमामि भारतम्’ कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत ‘वन्दे मातरम्’ के 150 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में समारोह आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में शिक्षाविदों, विश्वविद्यालयों के प्राध्यापकों, आचार्यों, शोधार्थियों एवं विद्यार्थियों ने सहभागिता की।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्वलन एवं सरस्वती वंदना से हुआ। मुख्य अतिथि प्राग्ज्योतिषपुर विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ. आर. पी. तिवारी ने ‘वन्दे मातरम्’ के ऐतिहासिक महत्व को रेखांकित करते हुए इसे स्वतंत्रता चेतना, राष्ट्रीय एकता एवं सांस्कृतिक अस्मिता का सशक्त प्रतीक बताया।
मुख्य वक्ता एवं विद्या भारती के अखिल भारतीय उपाध्यक्ष श्री अवनीश भटनागर जी ने ‘वन्दे मातरम्’ की रचना की पृष्ठभूमि, साहित्यिक महत्त्व तथा स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में इसकी भूमिका पर विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा कि ‘वन्दे मातरम्’ भारतीय राष्ट्रीय चेतना का ऐसा स्वर रहा है, जिसने देशवासियों में राष्ट्रभक्ति और मातृभूमि के प्रति समर्पण की भावना जागृत की।
इसी अवसर पर विद्या भारती पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र की विद्वत परिषद की एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला भी आयोजित हुई, जिसमें पूर्वोत्तर के विभिन्न राज्यों से परिषद के प्रमुख, प्रभारी, संयोजक एवं शिक्षाविद् शामिल हुए। श्री अवनीश भटनागर जी ने कहा कि “जीवन की चुनौतियों का सामना करने में सक्षम बनाना ही शिक्षा का उद्देश्य होना चाहिए।” कार्यशाला में विद्वत परिषद की भूमिका, शिक्षा के राष्ट्रीय परिप्रेक्ष्य तथा आगामी कार्ययोजना पर विचार-विमर्श हुआ।

Vidwat Parishad Workshop Deliberates on Education, National Consciousness and the Indian Knowledge Tradition
Guwahati, August 8: Under the aegis of the Vidwat Parishad of Shishu Shiksha Samiti Assam, a special programme titled ‘Namami Bharatam’ was organised at NEDFi Bhavan, Guwahati, to commemorate the completion of 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’. The programme witnessed participation from educationists, university professors, teachers, researchers and students.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Chief Guest Dr. R. P. Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Pragjyotishpur University, highlighted the historical significance of ‘Vande Mataram’, describing it as a powerful symbol of the spirit of freedom, national unity and cultural identity.
The keynote speaker, Shri Avanish Bhatnagar Ji, All-India Vice President of Vidya Bharati, elaborated on the background of the composition of ‘Vande Mataram’, its literary significance and its role in the freedom movement. He stated that ‘Vande Mataram’ has been a powerful expression of India’s national consciousness, inspiring patriotism and a spirit of dedication towards the motherland among the people.
On the occasion, a one-day workshop of the Vidwat Parishad of Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra was also organised, bringing together heads, in-charges, coordinators and educationists from various northeastern states.
Addressing the workshop, Shri Avanish Bhatnagar Ji said, “The purpose of education should be to empower individuals to face the challenges of life.” The workshop included discussions on the role of the Vidwat Parishad, education from a national perspective, and the roadmap for upcoming activities.
