Vidya Bharati AGM 2026 Begins in New Delhi, Focus on National Consciousness and Spiritual Values

New Delhi: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 of Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan commenced on April 3 with a strong emphasis on integrating national consciousness with spiritual values in education. Addressing the inaugural session, senior RSS functionary Dr. Krishna Gopal highlighted the need for a balanced, value-based academic framework. The event brought together educationists and organisational representatives from across the country.

The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, setting the tone for a four-day deliberation. Speakers stressed that education must go beyond textbooks and examinations to nurture responsible, value-oriented citizens committed to nation-building.

In his address, Dr. Krishna Gopal stated that national consciousness and spirituality form the foundation of a strong and united society. He emphasized that India’s cultural strength lies in its diversity and inclusivity, and education should instill both a sense of national commitment and ethical values among students. He also noted that rising materialism and self-centered thinking have led to intolerance, which can be addressed through value-based education.

Highlighting the role of technology, he said that while artificial intelligence and modern tools are transforming education, they cannot replace human sensitivity, creativity, and cultural understanding. Students, he added, should receive both modern knowledge and spiritual guidance to lead balanced and purposeful lives.

The session was attended by Vidya Bharati’s national leadership, including President Dr. Ravindra Kanhere, General Secretary Shri Deshraj Sharma, and Organising Secretary Shri Govind Chandra Mahant. A commemorative publication titled “Saptashakti Sangam” was also released, and tributes were paid to inspiring personalities who contributed to the organisation’s growth.

The four-day AGM will continue with discussions on academic strategies, organisational plans, and future initiatives aimed at strengthening value-based education and expanding Vidya Bharati’s role in India’s education landscape.

नई दिल्ली: विद्या भारती अखिल भारतीय शिक्षा संस्थान की वार्षिक साधारण सभा (AGM) 2026 का शुभारंभ 3 अप्रैल को राष्ट्रीय चेतना और आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों के समन्वय पर विशेष बल के साथ हुआ। उद्घाटन सत्र में वरिष्ठ आरएसएस पदाधिकारी डॉ. कृष्ण गोपाल ने संतुलित एवं मूल्य-आधारित शिक्षा व्यवस्था की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश डाला। कार्यक्रम में देशभर से शिक्षा क्षेत्र के प्रमुख पदाधिकारी एवं प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित रहे।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्ज्वलन एवं सरस्वती वंदना के साथ हुआ, जिसने चार दिवसीय विचार-विमर्श की दिशा निर्धारित की। वक्ताओं ने कहा कि शिक्षा केवल पाठ्यपुस्तकों और परीक्षाओं तक सीमित न रहकर ऐसे जिम्मेदार और संस्कारवान नागरिक तैयार करे, जो राष्ट्र निर्माण में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा सकें।

अपने संबोधन में डॉ. कृष्ण गोपाल ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय चेतना और आध्यात्मिकता एक सशक्त एवं एकजुट समाज की आधारशिला हैं। उन्होंने भारत की सांस्कृतिक विविधता और समावेशी दृष्टिकोण को उसकी शक्ति बताते हुए कहा कि शिक्षा में राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पण के साथ नैतिक और आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों का समावेश आवश्यक है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि बढ़ता भौतिकवाद और स्वार्थपरता समाज में असहिष्णुता को बढ़ा रहे हैं, जिसका समाधान मूल्यपरक शिक्षा में निहित है।

तकनीक की भूमिका पर उन्होंने कहा कि आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और आधुनिक उपकरण शिक्षा को बदल रहे हैं, लेकिन वे मानवीय संवेदनशीलता, रचनात्मकता और सांस्कृतिक समझ का स्थान नहीं ले सकते। विद्यार्थियों को आधुनिक ज्ञान के साथ आध्यात्मिक मार्गदर्शन भी मिलना चाहिए, ताकि वे संतुलित और उद्देश्यपूर्ण जीवन जी सकें।

इस सत्र में विद्या भारती के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष डॉ. रविन्द्र कान्हेरे, महामंत्री श्री देशराज शर्मा और संगठन मंत्री श्री गोविंद चंद्र महंत सहित अन्य पदाधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर “सप्तशक्ति संगम” स्मारिका का विमोचन भी किया गया तथा संगठन के विकास में योगदान देने वाले प्रेरक व्यक्तित्वों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गई।

चार दिवसीय यह बैठक देशभर से आए प्रतिनिधियों के साथ शैक्षणिक रणनीतियों, संगठनात्मक योजनाओं और मूल्यनिष्ठ शिक्षा के विस्तार पर केंद्रित रहेगी, जिससे भारत-केंद्रित शिक्षा को और सशक्त बनाया जा सके।
